Review I Web Sum­mit 2022

The Web Sum­mit 2022 in Lis­bon is over. The event attrac­ted 71,000+ atten­de­es over a total of four days, accor­ding to its own infor­ma­ti­on. From Novem­ber 1 to 4, com­pa­nies, start­ups and entre­pre­neurs in the field of tech­no­lo­gy from all over the world came tog­e­ther to talk about the future of the tech industry.

Along with seven other hubs, the Media­Tech Hub from Pots­dam was also on site as part of the Digi­tal Hub Initia­ti­ve (de:hub). And among the 39 start­ups from the de:hub cos­mos, five teams from the port­fo­lio of the Media­Tech Hub Acce­le­ra­torCI Hub, Fre­que, Klang­chat, pro­mi­seQ and yoo​na​.ai – were also repre­sen­ted at the Web Summit.

About the Web Summit

Web Sum­mit is an annu­al tech con­fe­rence held in Lis­bon, Por­tu­gal. Foun­ded in 2009 by Pad­dy Cos­gra­ve, David Kel­ly and Dai­re Hickey, Web Sum­mit was ori­gi­nal­ly held in Dub­lin, Ire­land, until it moved per­ma­nent­ly to Lis­bon in 2016.

The topics of the con­fe­rence are focu­sed on Inter­net tech­no­lo­gy, new tech­no­lo­gies and ven­ture capi­tal. Web Sum­mit part­ners ran­ge from For­tu­ne 500 com­pa­nies to start­ups, with par­ti­ci­pan­ts repre­sen­ting all levels and sec­tors of the glo­bal high-tech industry.
